View McCune Dashboard Home | Other Award Applications McCune Metrics has been developed as a roadmap for undergraduate chapters to follow to be successful. The goal of the McCune Metrics program is to quantify the achievements of the undergraduate chapter. The McCune Metrics is designed so that the entire Executive Board can set chapter goals for the chapter for the Fall and Spring semesters. In the last forty years the criteria by which award winners are chosen has evolved from an application process based around the six Principles of Sigma Tau Gamma into the McCune Metrics program. There are 4 basic elements: tallying your score by completing all of the questions, attaching verification materials, completing a goal setting exercise as explained, and obtaining signatures to certify your packet. The McCune Metrics Is named in honor of Dr. Edward H. McCune, Alpha '21, Founder and Fourth National President. Dr. McCune also authored the Creed of Sigma Tau Gamma and Code of Conduct.
